    Neil Stanglein

    Neil Stanglein, Coordinator for Fraternity & Sorority Life

    Neil Stanglein joined the Virginia Commonwealth University staff in August 2010. Neil advises the Interfraternity and Multicultural Greek Councils. He serves as a volunteer for the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors, serving as the Annual Meeting Educational Programs Chair in 2011 and Events Coordinator for 2012. Neil also volunteers on the national level for Delta Zeta Sorority and serves as a facilitator for Campuspeak and the National Panhellenic Conference's Advance Panhellenic interactive workshop. Prior to coming to VCU, Neil worked at William Woods University in Fulton, MO. Neil has his undergraduate degree and master's degree from the University of Missouri, where he was a Founding Father of Lambda Chi Alpha.

     

     


    Brooke Isbell

    Brooke Kingsley Isbell joined the staff in July 2011. She serves as the College Panhellenic Council Advisor at VCU. Brooke also volunteers with Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity as a Ladder of Risk facilitator. Prior to coming to VCU, Brooke worked at North Carolina State University, where she completed her Master's degree in Higher Education Administration. She has her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, where she was initiated into the Delta Epsilon Chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity.     Dr. Carolyn Whittier has been a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University staff for six years. She has fifteen years of professional experience working with fraternities and sororities, and serves as the NPHC Advisor at VCU. Carrie has recently completed her term as President of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (www.afa1976.org) in 2009. Prior to coming to VCU, Carrie worked at Centre College, Randolph-Macon College, and Elon University. She has her undergraduate degree from DePauw University, masters degree from Ball State University, and doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University.     Deonte' Young

    Deonte' Young, Graduate Assistant

    Greek Week and Order of Omega Advisor

    Deonte serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and advises the Iota Nu Chapter of Order of Omega and the Greek Week Committee. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 where he initiatied into the Theta Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and was named the 2011 NPHC Outstanding Chapter President. Deonte is currently a first year Master’s student in the Counselor Education Program at VCU expecting to graduate in the spring of 2013.
